- Application must be completed and applicant must be endorsed by 2 NSCA Regular Members in good standing and then submitted for approval.
All members must abide by the NSCA Code of Ethics. Please read it and be sure you can abide by the NSCA code of ethics before you apply for membership.
- Membership fees:
Single membership is $30.00. Open to all persons over age 18. Shall be entitled to all privileges & benefits of the club. Including the right to vote & hold office.
Family membership is $45.00. Open to 2 adults over age 18, living at the same residence. Both members shall be entitled to all privileges & benefits of the club. Including the right to vote & hold office.
Member Club membership is $30.00. Open to all Shiba Inu clubs that meets requirements as indicated in the Constitution. May not hold office or serve on committees, but are entitled to 1 vote.
Associate membership is $25.00. Entitle individuals to all privileges of the Club, excluding the right to vote, hold office, participate in BDEP & sponsor new members and/or chair committees.
Foreign membership are for members residing outside of the U.S. and shall be eligible only for Associate membership. Canada & Mexico memberships are $35.00. Other foreign memberships are $50.00.
Junior membership is Gratis. Open to all persons under the age of 18, who shall be entitled to all privileges & benefits of the club. Excluding the right to vote, hold office & participate in BDEP.

Once your application is approved, you will be notified and begin to receive the club newsletter. Your approval will be published in the Shiba-E-News.
Email Authorization Option
The National Shiba Club of America, Inc. has adopted email communication, unless otherwise defined in the C&BL, as a method of notification for club meetings and other club notices which may include but are not limited to dues notices or reminders, judge selection, minutes, newsletters and surveys. This is to comply with AKC Club Relations Policy: http://www.akc.org/pdfs/clubs/club_policies/ALL_CLUB_EMAIL_NOTIFICATION_Policy-Jan_2006.pdf
All members are required to sign an Email Authorization Option Form to activate email communication, to elect to receive only hard copy notifications via the US Postal Service or to choose not receive any notifications. Such authorization is revocable. The Club is released from any liability should notifications be received late or not received by a member or board member due to circumstances beyond the Club's control.
The returned forms will be maintained on file both as hard copy and electronically. If there is a change in status, email address, or mailing address advise the Corresponding Secretary of such changes.
You will note that there are three (3) options provided, though we encourage "going green" with the acceptance of Email notification.
New Member Applicants - please include your executed Email Authorization Option Form with your NSCA Membership Application and mail then to the Membership Chairperson.
